Hometown were tasked with helping devise a campaign to promote their revamped ITV Player to audiences across the UK.
We sought to bring to life the benefits of the product in a way that was in keeping with ITV’s ‘heart of popular culture’ tone, and created the ‘Ready When You Are’ campaign, using Jonathon Ross and Keith Lemon in our TV ads.
In addition we created the 'Now Playing Everywhere' campaign to promote the launch of the ITV Player mobile product.
Did it work?
ITV saw usage and registrations on the app spike by over 200% during the campaign period as audiences adopted this new, on-the-go format.
